This role provides key technical design, implementation, and optimization of industrial/chemical processes, with a specialized focus on continuous improvement within caramel color and natural color manufacturing.

Is This You?

Located in Louisville, KY.

• Develop, configure and optimize industrial/chemical processes from inception to completion
• Cap Ex project management up to $100,000
• Continuous Improvement project team leader – active participant in CI activities
• Startup/Commissioning support of Cap Ex projects
• Problem solving between operations and maintenance – able to work with maintenance and operators to find the best solution
• Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data (HMI, Cook Sheets, Batch Records, Virtual Boxes).
• Design, run, test and upgrade systems/processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot in HMI’s, PLC and understanding of Ladder Logic.
• Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
• Perform process simulations. Work with controls contractor to troubleshoot
• Manage cost and time constraints.
• Assist and provide support to maintenance department.
• Perform risk assessments.
• Provide and develop process documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Project status updates as defined by Plant Engineer and Plant Manager
